what if its a scammer account that unloads the gold immediately?
blizzard can track gold and strip it whenever they want. There is no way to not leave a trail. They have the ability to strip mounts, gear, gold, and literally anything else off of an account. They can also restore yours pretty easily. The main thing here is that it was a legit service or trade and that you have everything in the chat so they can see you werent trying to RMT and that you are just a legit player who got scammed. Blizz doesn't want players who pay monthly subs + box prices quitting their game so they will help as long as its clear you did nothing wrong yourself.
So say you get scammed and they move the gold via any method instantly. Once your ticket gets read they will look into the account and follow that gold trail and ban/remove anything it touches. Unsuspecting accounts who tried buying that gold will have it stripped and anything they bought with it.
This is why nuloland gets people banned at such a high rate, he pays cash for cheap stolen/botted gold and then sells it here to unsuspecting jspers. He had to namechange from smalldevil94 because thats the same account name he uses to buy the ill gotten gold on other sites.
