we visit the dunes a couple times a year to go camping and hang out

mostly trips to the rubicon once or twice a year or something equivalent as far as trails go, 4-6 days of camping and off roading

thanks, was my first car, bought it when i was 15. a long build process thats still evolving from hitting mud puddles and poser flexing on concreete fire rings to running moab and the rubicon and fordyce and dusy ershim

hollister hills from the top truck challenge stuff is in my back yard and we have pretty much anything you could want for offroading in california.

looks like a great starting point, you could go alot of different ways with it.

biggest part of it for me is "dont get it right just get it going" dont get caught up in needing the latest greatest and the best and all the high end fancy stuff just get out there and use it. it will tell you want needs upgraded or added on

also do alot of reading before spending your $ there are lots and lots of forums and builds and info out there if you spend some time looking

if u have questions feel free to shoot em

its a 1990 ford full size bronco. the front and rear axles have been replaced with 1 tons. 3 link front suspension ford dana 60 front with chromo axles and electric locker hydro assist steering rear is a dana 60 thats been shaved on the bottom for clearance detroit locker (gov lock) chromo axles with custom leaf packs from deaver it has a doubler transfer case np203-np205 (it will be replaced by an atlas at some point the transmission is a manual swap zf5 5 speed its on 42 inch tall interco iroks on B.A.D. beadlocks (i think they are out of business and even if they arnt i would not buy again) rock sliders for under the rocker panels front and rear bumpers built by me half doors built by me off a second set of doors. assorted offroad lights warn 15k winch with voodoo rope instead of cable cheap parts store "racing seats" which i will be replacing with PRP seats engine is stock with a cam and smog stuff removed dual batteries higher output alternator dual electric fans with shroud (real nice piece) i have race radio from rugged radio with head sets so you can hear each other or music over the road noise/tires/wind with the top off or the half doors

i think thats it
