Waiting patiently for the Phillies to sign one of these All-Star shortstops.

Not a matter of if, but when, and who. Hearing they're favorites for Turner, which is our preference, but I'll take any of them. Sounds like they're meeting with all of them though before coming to an agreement. Turner seems to be the best fit.

Trea Turner, Carlos Correa, Xander Bogaerts or Dansby Swanson?

Jealous of the Phillies…right

Astros or Dodgers only team to be “jealous” about…
No cap sport so Sox will be just fine once they start spending again. Shit contracts atm so brutal past 2 seasons but that’s what Dumbo leaves behind.

Oh, that beast lineup scored 2 or less runs in 4 of the 6 WS games
Turner changes all that duh….

Contender for best lineup in baseball for sure B)

There's a reason the Phillies were favorites to land Turner all along. He's the absolute ideal fit in this lineup, gives them a consistent high-average hitter with great speed and solid power at the top of the lineup.

Oh, and he has already led the NL in stolen bases two times in the past few years, and now he's joining one of the best base stealing teams. Gotta love it.

top 2 leading teams in stolen bases in 2022... the rangers and the marlins

definitely a stat you should be excited about... although schwarber did look amped to get those free tacos for everyone

Best part is the rule changes are absolutely going to make Turner even more valuable. Park change (he'll have a field day in CBP), combined with all of the rule changes. Oh yes....

What’s harder to project is which middle infielders this is likely to help (and hurt). Shifts have made metrics like “range factor” highly misleading. So we turned to FanGraphs’ “Speed Factor” ratings to see if that helped us identify the most athletic middle infielders on the market.

Shocker alert! Trea Turner (6.4) was miles ahead of this field. To find the next-best marquee free-agent shortstop in that category, you had to drop the bar all the way to 4.8, for Dansby Swanson. Then came Xander Bogaerts at 3.5 — and Carlos Correa, at a seemingly misleading 1.7.
