do you know anything about the state of the drive? do you suspect a physical failure or did you maybe do something on the logical layer of the disk? you want to attempt recovery from a clone if you can, not the actual drive.
EaseUS will have the same limitation, use
https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk if you don't want to spend money and think the problem is on the logical level. DDRescue for block-level issues. is it making any noise/was this following a particular action?
