Just curious about your play style. If you are doing particular runs, and a certain game seems to be dropping more uniques/runes/whatever than average, do you ever stay and do an area you weren’t planning to do?

I do. I’ve never had it pay off.

The main reason I do it, is just so there's the possibility of something super rare happening.

Example: If Jah drops in your game and you leave, then having a game where Jah and Ber drop in the same game is impossible. It you stick around for a while, then it's possible that you might get 2 rare drops in one game.

If something good drops then I do mf more areas then planned. I know it doesn't mean I'm in a "lucky" game, but I don't care.

I just get baked and kill stuff randomly and constantly. Seems to work for me.

the only time i do this is if a unique sacred armor drops because if you drop 2 in the same game one is guaranteed to be tyreals

I don’t even need a good drop, just lots of a type that I want. I started a game tonight, planning to hit Frigid waypoint pair, Trav, cows. Got five runes (best being Dol), two useless uniques, IK gaunts and Tals mask, so I stayed to do Pit and Chaos, thinking if runes are dropping, a good rune might drop.

No more runes, period.

And even that is not true unles you play an older version
