I think any legacy items are worth keeping for D3, the game became very enjoyable to play for many people, even if just for short periods of time. the game was very different in the beginning, and I think there's some nostalgia to having some key legacy items ( albeit not the level as D2 nostalgia, but that's a whole different beast ).
