Has there been any research regarding wells poof rates? For example if I’m lvl 55 and drop lvl 10-25 items in the well will the wells poof at a quicker rate than if I drop items closer to my character level?

I think something similar to this has been asked before, but I can’t find the thread.

ANY INFO (yup I’ll even include paragonzi’s 2 cents on the matter) would be helpful.

No, there isn't any Item level condition to a Well disappearing.

Yes, I have had wells @ level 60+ that has consumed 80 to 100 + whites, including Tier III items because I had started welling my highest white items.

Yes, on the flipside, I have been level 63, found a Well and put in a level 55 item and POOF... thus only 1 item at level requirement, this has happened a number of times.

Also, have had this in between, found a Well @ level 35, put in a level 30 item and POOF... thus only 1 item at level requirement, AND also the flipside at that level where I have completed like 30 items in that well down from level 30 to Tier V's.

There is no condition of a Well disappearing referring to Item Level & Character Level.

Thank you for finally somebody posting something relevant to what I was asking. Do most others agree to this logic or does someone have anything to rebuttal this?

My bet is well get a poof ratio like you can get exp ratio on map from 5 to 30% and so that's pure lottery for every throw which would explain why they can absorb from 1 items to dozens. Luck luck luck

No problem, but I think I know the Thread you were referring to at the start of this thread. It was referring to the "Invisible Well" that did not appear on the mini map. This was also debunked when it was confirmed that it was an image (graphic) bug.

Also, if you found a well, go (explore maze) hunting for items and then get a 1006 drop and look at your mini map, the Well image will not appear, you have to go back to the location for it to appear again.
