You can only sell it if you got it from an eternal crest. I think doing anything to it after it drops will bound it and make it unsellable

Considering a 5 star gem is worth prob no less than 500k ( don't think people are REALLY paying for them, though), I'd say sell it. Also might want to note that the prices of platinum, as far as I've seen, is roughly 1:100. That means 500k platinum would get you 50k fg. Sell it. Unless you plan to accumulate the gems to upgrade it, which will put a big dent in your pocket, being quality 1 is kinda junk.

Use the rift essence (can’t remember name), trade with the rune shop. To get FA runes or AMN runes. They can be used too. But AMN runes can only be 1 star I believe

Random Gem only actually costs 22 FA runes

This is the gamble option - most of the time you'll get a 1 star or 2 star, since a 1 star only costs 7 FA runes you will overall get less gem power from the gamble option.

HOWEVER you have a chance at a 5 star gem so that's the investment

It’s a good gamble option - I sell the gem at the AH either was with 1500 + plus in platinum price. I don’t know what’s the % of rolling a 5 star gem. Even tho I get one, I would still be selling it on the market. In a month or so - I’m pretty sure that the prices will get a bit down. All prices does that - in all games. Look at skill stone, who the hell buy those. 20 % chance of even getting 1 of 5… And sells for 1500-1600 at least. Get a 3/5 on would be more realistic of getting one. But maybe some just got to much money

Depends on how much you plan on spending a month. If 300$ a month smash it for gem power and rank up you 1* gems to rank 10. If you plan on spending 2500+ then keep it. You should have never spent the 200$ on that blessing of the worthy pack if you are not spending big. It’s designed for the whales not the regular guy.
