I've been working in IT/Software development for a number of years and I know enough networking to get me by but networking fundamentals such as subnetting have never clicked for me. I have taken some time to read various articles and watched videos over there years and still, nothing has clicked. I'm looking for an English speaker to get on a call with me and help me fill in the knowledge gaps. I know with the right teacher/explanation it will eventually click for me.

I understand my request is quite subjective in terms of the desired outcome but I will gladly pay you're asking price if you are able to help me breakthrough.

Here is a starting point of what I would like to learn/understand.

Let's say we are in Azure and I create a new Virtual Network or AWS and create a new VPC, I would like to know how I can start carving out subnets within my network. What information do I need prior to starting that? What is the decision-making process? etc.

look up cidr notation for subnetting. it's really simple

subnetting is about sub dividing a network into smaller networks. There really isn't much to it

I think he already got his answer...but for 2420 fg (just because OCD), I can explain the subnetting part (either publicly or in a PM, as preferred) and answer questions if anything's unclear.
