you mean colts? or browns? or even seahawks? all finished above the eagles in ypc. you just had the most attempts because your qb cant throw.
Eagles had more rushing yards before contact than more than half the leagues teams had TOTAL rushing yards overall. Absurd numbers from the dominant offensive line in the run game.
To think they were barely running the ball with RB's to start the year, they had FIVE halves early in the season with fewer than four rushing attempts for running backs rofl. Hell, they even set the record for fewest rushing attempts by RB's in a single game. To think they turned from that shit show into an absolute dominant rushing unit the second half of the season after Shane Steichen took over play calling duties around week 7 and started feeding the RB's with actual run plays from the backfield. The fans had been begging them to run the ball more, and they finally did and it turned them into a great offense putting up absurd rushing numbers.
Over the final 9 games of the season, the Eagles averaged nearly 200 rush yards per game, and quickly became the #1 rushing offense in the league. They went 7-2 in that span. I believe they had a stretch of 7 or 8 straight games where they rushed for 175+ yards, insane.
The Eagles fan base bullying and forcing the team into turning from the worst rushing offense in the league to LITERALLY #1 is a feat that can never be replicated.
