Given how much people that don’t know anything about d2 cried to bliZzard about things that didn’t need to be changed, and blizzard listened to the idiot majority, d4 will be trash. D4 will be designed to sell copies/micro transactions. It will not be designed to be good.

So no, it’s clear with how bad they fucked up d2r, which is based off of d2, which is almost universally known as a classic and the defining game of a genre, that d4 is going to be dog shit. Will it be equally bad or worse than d2r is what remains to be seen.

All I know is Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Diablo 2 LOD, and D2R.

No need for D3 and beyond. I waited like 10 years for that game and it didn't even get my respect to play it more than 1 hour.

Diablo 2 is where it is at and where it will always be.

They don't even know why their old games were good.

The only thing they've done decently is probably overwatch in the past few years.

D4 looks like a D3 copy with a darker color palette.

I have neither heard a single word from the devs nor have I seen a single gameplay video that would even begin to convince me they know what they are doing and why D2 was so good but D3 was so terrible.

I'd be very glad to be proven wrong, btw. I just don't think that I will be.

I never got why people had much of any faith in them nowadays. They tried to sue to get Dota2 because they knew they were incapable of making good games anymore, needed to steal ideas.

Even if you look at D2R, it is arguably a worse game than LOD. The improvements that they did make, are outdone by the failures of the game lobby/ chat system/ friends list commands.

They launched b.net 2.0 with almost half the functionality of 1.0 LOL.

They had to sue different D2LOD mods to get them to stop because they needed D2R to be profitable.

Blizzard was honestly the greatest game company of all time, and he fallen the furthest from that spot.
