Looking for something that will keep me alive 60-77 in solo

Mp has nothing decent except a over priced armor for 750

armor escalates in price pretty quickly, especially when considering the type of armor.

Given your current situation i'd stick to chains and plates because they're cheaper. Should be expecting prices along these lines:
100ee ~200 fg
110ee ~300 fg
120ee ~500 fg
130ee ~750 fg
140ee ~900 fg
150ee ~1400 fg
160ee ~1700 fg
170ee ~2100 fg
180ee ~2500 fg

you get the idea, prices scale heavily.
