I'm in a dilemma. So I spent fgs like a mad man and went all in on a nova sorc. Tried to do chaos runs 8players solo a few days ago and I ran into some troubles. The thing that made me super sad was one run I had to tp back 2-3 times to get merc etc. I was hoping if there are anyone qwith 2.4 nova sorc knowledge to help me fix my issues!

Main goal: Be able to rush or do runs for players 8 hell. Is this possible with a decked out nova sorc?

I am playing 200fcr my gear: Basically perfect griffons, perfect eschutas, perfect ormus, 2/20 fcr ammy, 2 10fcr rings, arach, 35cr spirit, war travs & magefists.
I have 2 skillers and the rest mf res charms (I have full res)

After doing research myself I hear resistance isn't as important on nova sorc.

I am thinking my mana is too low? 2.4kish. I was thinking swapping ormus for vipers and add in a soj. Give me more mana.

Maybe I should wax off some res charms and add in mana scs?

From my testing it would seem I don't have enough mana pool? I know the lightning sorc (with this setup) is ideal but really loving the nova sorc. If I can do p8 chaos runs for ppl and sacrifice a bit of speed i'm definitely okay with that.

Hope there is some wisdom that can part with me today!

EDIT: OH! Also I am only lvl 92. So my energy shield isn't fully maxed yet. I think I am at a 88 or something damage goes to mana. Maybe my issue is just my energy shield is not maxed?

The nova sorc is capable of doing p8 cows and chaos in a matter of minutes *if you dont run into hard immunes. The key is static, tele near not on and destroy. In chaos especially I do have to pop and mana pot id say at least in between every seal, but its not as bad if you avoid taking direct damage all the time and have good resist to absorb the ele dmg that is not absorbed by your es. It is BY FAR the fastest character I've ever played with and I outpace even most javazons no problem and run them out of my cow games :D. Also not many people run it but the enigma version is a tank at 120fcr can have over 3k mana, constantly regenerate life that is lost and 10%dmg mana on top of silk weaves +5maek. With the damage reduction from enigma and all the other great mods you can swap to mf or dmg versions easily and its care free... just all full rejuvs in your belt and tele kill tele kill. Hope this helps

he is running 200fcr nova sorc, also in my opinion wielding infinity wastes a ton of stats that could be gained. Like stated before you can just wear enigma and silkweaves alone and not have mana issues.

Thank you! I think I am goin try find a middle ground; also is silkweaves a must? (the mana after kill) I can do my theorycrafting build with or without it keeping 200MF but I lose skillers for using silkweave (or charms if I don't skiller the slot). I guess my question is if silkweave is a must on the nova goddess

I got something similar going on! But without sojs and mana; i think I know where im going wrong. Im going make something very similar but keep 200 mf. Thank you brother for the wisdom!!

What is your nova range?!

only on monsters that you break immunes on, doesn't effect cows or most of the other minions that you fight. they cant go below -100. -85 conviction -35 = -120 and thats most monsters almost maxed - res
