Dana said "We all know why, let's not play that game." People are still playing the game tho, pretending they think it's maybe because China won't allow broadcasts featuring them into the country. We all know why tho, srsly.
It's really crazy because this has always been the UFC's biggest selling point. Fans pile into arenas across the world to see guys like them climb into the octagon to wrestle around with each other.
Americans wanted to see Chael Sonnen rolling around on top of Anderson Silva for 25 minutes dealing blow after blow and Brazilians were excited to see Anderson's signature body triangle from the bottom as he wore out Chael with his uncanny ability to avoid punishment.
Irish people(and Americans pretending to be Irish) wanted to see Conor MacGregor twirling around throwing kicks and hammering his opponents mercilessly, while people from other countries just wanted to see him taken down and pounded against the fence until he couldn't take it any more.
This has always been why we tuned in, and now suddenly it's being taken away. I, for one, feel a bit betrayed.
