Pretty much the title.

I get sharp anterior lateral pain of my patella anytime I do barbell squats. Nothing else bothers the knees so I'm assuming its my form? (have been seen for my knees in the past MRIs and Xrays clean)

Sounds like patellar compression syndrome. Roll out the lateral side of your quad with a lacrosse ball and start focusing on possible muscular imbalances. One great way is working on pistol squats, single legged leg press with light weights and body weight squats with limited depth. The goal is to strengthen your VMO, or your interior quad, to add support to your patella.

Not a PT, I’d trust one over me.. Just a guy that reads a lot.

start doing nordics they are life changing
im a great big fat guy but i can fold over backwards my joints are pretty strong and flexible

That sounds like IT band syndrome symptoms. Would need to have a video of your squat to see if I can guide you any further. Again, I don't diagnose, this is simply something I would suggest based on the manifestation of pain on the lateral aspect of your knee.

One thing you can try to see if you get any relief is foam rolling your TFL. I'm not advocating it will be any kind of miracle fix, but if you feel tightness in the area, it could help.
