If you start whistling after falling through a trap door, do the monsters that appear have the increased level as if you were exploring tiles?

Sometimes if I'm in 2x trap doors. I'll whistle for 1 mob to heal easier.

I have noticed a slight change in difficulty when whistling down 3+ TD's. Logging out then back in reset the TD counter and felt noticably easier.
Wouldnt be the first time this style of thing happened (i.e the single EP only at lvl 71 easy mode thing).


I've not tested this extensively, so perhaps it is just me. Although perhaps not if someone made a topic? suggests they felt it was harder also?
For now without testing i would suggest Nic's answer is this is the closest answer with current knowledge.


Whistle mobs are always easier than explore mobs though. Less damage dealt and less health.

Ive never noticed a difference. If im down TDs, explore or whistle, i get wrecked cuz i suck. Shit happens. No one really knows how this game works. Its the 10th wonder of the world.
