yes, offensive and defensive ratings are capped in pvp. but life/mana not and also you can awaken your items to get more bonus stats and cd reductions.

i read somewhere it's more like 50k to level up all your 5* legendary gems

I play crossput right now. it's also some clear P2w elements but i go f2p.

There is a matchmaker on there tho, sort of. Playing higher "powered" pvp gives more rewards. Haven't had a problem staying competitive in crossout at least, without spending. Recommend it,.probably better on PC but it's good for a mobile title.

Maybe immortal will have some matchmaker function too?

D2R will get a revamp after this fails out.
