Pending Challenges:

D2R BvB GM Rules:

- Do not prebuff.
- Do not precast.
- Do not use poison.
- Do not use slow, Cold damage charms in inventory, or cold damage from jewels.
- Do not enchant.
- Do not use healing potions.
- Do not run.
- Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage.
- Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
- Do not cast item/torch charges.
- Do not use temporary armor or weapons. (Do not use ethereal gear that is not repairable or indestructable.)
- You must have enough strength to pick up your body without switching gear.
- If chilling armor casts from fort it can be used for that one duel. The next duel the player must either rejoin or be killed. This way chilling armor wont be precasted for the next duel.
- If Venom is cast from grief it can be used for that one duel. The next duel the player must either rejoin or be killed.
- You may change gear twice during a set and once between each set.
- Using a token mid-challenge is not allowed.
- Dueling should be done in Normal mode. In case of venom proc.
Challenger may select realm to duel in. Asia / EU / Americas

Best 2 out of 3 sets. .Duels are first to 5. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WIN BY 2.

- Draws - If neither player survives a walk back to town, counts as a draw. No point awarded to either player
- It can be required that both show gear before a duel if one feels the other may be using ethereal non-repairable gear.

Challenge system

- Want to be added to the ladder? Please post your JSP name/Character name (Guild)
- You are allowed to challenge 1-2 ranks above you until you get to #3. At #3, you win both to get to #1.
- To issue a challenge you must pm your opponent, then post in thread.
- If you issue a challenge and win, you must wait 12 hours to issue another challenge. If you issue a challenge and lose you must wait 24 hours to issue another challenge, or 48 hours to rechallenge the same person.
- If you are challenged and win, you can issue a challenge immediately. If you are challenged and lose, you must wait 24 hours to issue a challenge.
- 3-Day Dodge rule NO EXCEPTIONS (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 3 consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder.
- If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibitly to PM your challenger to inform them and then post in thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this dodge rule will be enforced.
- If neither of you post why it wasn't completed, its a dodge for the challenged individual. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- If you cannot play on ladder for more then 7 consecutive days, you go back to the bottom of players list. NO EXCEPTIONS

sup guys. used to play USWEST BVB and starting to think about making a D2R BVB.
i just have a few questions about the GM rules here and the changes to WW effecting builds

is Grief+Fort still GM? is most or all of the rules from LOD the same?
is a 34%IAS Berzerker Axe or a 39%IAS Colossus blade still all you need for max FPA?
follow up: i see people using IAS% jewels in gear, why exactly? obviously due to the new WW changes, but what are they trying to compensate for and achieve with this? are they really needed to hit a BP different from the question above?
due to cold damage effecting attack speed of WW now, are people dedicating a slot to a Cham rune now?
follow up:can you get a weapon fast like maybe a zweihander to null the effects of cold slow on WW? or is it just too drastic
any other changes to BVB meta one should know about before investing in gear/planning a build?

any insight or help is appreciated, thanks!

Cold damage should be considered as GM imo , lack of cham rune or raven frost or anything else that gives CBF is not an excuse.

i would love to join but my barb is far from ready xD. I'll def be around one day. D2R seems to allow for some different builds than LOD so im looking forward to trying new ideas.

i kinda get the cold ban in way. its either everyone does a bit of cold damage and chams to null it, or no one does either. kind of the same result.
would just suck if you have a special item you wanna make a build with and it happens to have CD, kinda ruins that chance, but not too likely of a scenario at least.

it would force users into a 2 soc helm, or a 2 soc armor or losing gelics which is shit.
