I tried the

Bose 700 and hated them, connectivity issues and weird background noise on the computer's I used.
I had the bose q35 but lost them recently and am very sad


I want something for travel that can be used for talking ( Could care less about the quality of mic) but has optimal music performance?

I've used the wh 1000xm3 since their release in 2018 and regularly try out new ANC headphones in local store.

If I lost my pair I would buy the Sony wh 1000xm4 over Bose QC45, Sennheiser PXC 550-II, Sennheiser momentum 3, bowers PX7, airpods max etc.

i've tried quite a few as well and have purchased every generation of the Sony's after reevaluating each time, if you're thinking about getting another pair you have to try them first.. they're nearly perfect for what it is.
