Yes, eshuta is what 20% extra dmg? This adds 2 more skills to fire ball and fire mastery, iirc each level fire mastery is 15% extra damage. So it does 30% more vs eschuta not counting the extra fireball. on top of that 2os and life and life rep. Eschuta might be better for 200% fcr fire though.

Not correctly said that level one fire mastery adds 15% fire damage,
Sources say its adding 7% fire damage
So also not correct said "it does 30% more vs eschuta" either.

If we talk about % Fire damage Eschuta base is still More.

Eschuta is:

+2 Sorceress Skills
40% Faster Cast Rate
+1 Fire Mastery (+7% Fire Damage)
+1 Fire Ball
(+1 all other sorceress skills)
+20% Fire Damage
+30 Energy
+1 Socket

Eschutas base fire mastery adds 27%
As was said is more Faster Cast Rate build tho 200%

Rare Orb is:
+2 Sorceress Skills
20% Faster Cast Rate
+3 Fire Mastery (+21% Fire Damage)
+3 Fire Ball
+38 Life
+4 Repl life
+2 Sockets

Rare Orb base fire mastery adds 21% with one rainbow facet its 26% so still not more than eschutas %


Rare orb is better for +2 sockets of Stats Jewels inside
Thats means its usefull for other possibility of build and its Collectible item, trophy is mostly for all that High Rolled Rare Things on it, hard to get..
Its collection to eschutas for your fire sorceress.
And is 10/10 this one for the stats rolled and is rare item no unique. Its pretty gz collectory orb for sorceress users who already got perf eschutas.

In many cases Eschutas is still the weapon you will use imo.

Not at all via my post up.

You use a rare orb for your 105 FCR setup in Energy shield. 200 FCR is a vita setup requiring the use of Eschutas.

But the problem is this orb has no mana stack. Making using Hoto better for ES becuse of the +15% Mana and 20 life rep, along with 40 resist (primarily for the poison resist).

This orb looks good. But in practice, common uniques and runewords are better.

As it is rare item and the stats on it are rarity to get all this perfect, its still 10/10 as collection to perf eschutas perf hoto for your sorceress.

But yes in most cases u will use eschu or hoto as you said.

Difference between all of them is 2 sockets for 2 rare jewels so you can build something other, but as was said,
i see with this 2 sockets nice Collectible for all sorceress lovers

This item can be compared with Hammerdin scepter,
Rare is collection for all hdin lovers, but they will preffer to use Wizardspike or Hoto over it tho.
But will be 10/10 if find Rare Scepter with:
2 Paladin 10% Fcr +str/life/repl +3 Hammer +3 conc +2 Sockets (or 20% Fcr if 1sock)

If a unique or runeword is better than your rare, your rare isn’t a trophy. No matter how close to perfect the roll is.

This isn’t a trophy.

Under every circumstance, hoto or Eschutas is better.

There are tons of “almost perfect rares” that aren’t even usable. Just because the roll has astronomical odds, doesn’t mean anything. Most all rare items have such astronomical odds to drop, simply becuse of the vast amount of affix combinations there are. Anythijg with 4+ affixes and staff mods or 5-6 affixes is going to be At minimum a 1/1,00,000,000 drop rate. Of which most of those are Charsi.

This orb is simply to try to take advantage of the mass amount of people on either ladder or d2r that either don’t know hit to properly build a character or can’t do very simple math.
