This will be a thread on games you should try with the right console/pc tag for the game.

It Takes Two

Time to beat the game: 9-12 Hours

Co-op game where you and your partner have to solve puzzles to move through the game.
The entire plot is that a young girls parents are divorcing and she had crochet dolls she made of them and by reading the book of love and asking the author *Dr Hakim* to help them, A spell activated when she cried on the dolls while hiding as she held them after her parents telling her they are splitting up.
So you play as a male clay doll and a female wooden doll. (You can switch between saves if you wanted)

I would also suggest playing this with your SO or a good friend, It can be a little emotional but not overbearing.

Divinity Original Sin I or II (PC/Xbox/PS and i think Nintendo)
2 player CO-OP in all versions, Consoles have split screen.
(2-4 characters are controllable, players can hop between characters and split parties at will)
Both games are freaking SLICK! especially if you like RPGs with a DND like game system

Unique class system where you pick a template (Like wizard starts with pyromancy and geomancy) or or select everything on your own.
Game has mechanics like persuasion telekinesis bartering theft lockpicking and luck.

Environment reacts, if you lay down oil or water the spilt liquid will react appropriately to fire, lightning or water.
You can throw down acid or oil and ignite it with a fire a spell then put out fire with a water spell/scroll to make steam and even shoot it with lightning to make an electrified cloud.

I been playing disco Elysium. Shit is super dope it is basically a tabletop type story and gameplay without combat. Insane story and dialogue.
