Via this blog I will be keeping track of any and all heads up games that I may play. I want to average at least one Heads Up game of poker a day, bare minimum 365 games played.

I will be keeping a rolling record of my games in my signature.

Each blog post will contain the following:

Opponent
Stake
Mistakes I may have made.

This is an effort to become a better heads up poker player and potentially finally hitting my goal of 1,000,000 forum gold. This also comes with bank roll management.

Anywhere from 0-20,000 forum gold: 500fg games
20,001-40,000 forum gold: 1,000fg games
40,001-80,000 forum gold: 2,000fg games
80,001-160,000 forum gold: 4,000fg games
160,001-400,000 forum gold: 10,000fg games
400,001-1,000,000 forum gold: 25,000fg games

I hope to meet a lot of good opponents along the way, and these games will be ft1.

Was an honor being able to play against someone I consider S-Tier Heads Up players in current BnP. Was a lot of fun, and some risky calls were made.

Lucky river saved my ass. I need to really stop calling what I believe to be bluffs.

edit: apparently this is public :wallbash:

Very tight player, difficult to read at times. Always seemed to be a step or a card ahead of me. Very good game

Incredibly enjoyable games, so much fun. 100% recommend anyone to play against them. Fast player, not super loose. Hard read at times.

Very even keeled player, will on occasion raise his SB in hopes of taking BB down. If there was a picture of "no bullshit poker" in the dictionary, it would be this individual. Very good HU player. Lost chip lead to two unfortunate straights (one was runner-runner for the game). After that, it was just a matter of time before I lost.

Very well played games

Always fun to play against Jowy. Very quiet and incredibly difficult to read. The kind of person you'd expect to see at a WSOP Satellite

Bad shove on my end, low stack with a high card vs pocket 9s. Didn't get there. Seemed to have one better when I thought I had a good hand.

Lost to his boat of 8s full of Aces

Game was over in five hands due to me being overzealous and a bad bluff early on. Last hand turned a straight vs nuts flush and lost

Very interesting individual. My oversight in the last hand drew me dead. An unfortunate turn earlier took me from 1100 chips to 100 chips. Rallied back to about 500 chips, and lost with Three of a Kind vs a Flush.

Forgot to post a 1k loss to

This man is my kryptonite for sure.

Won:

1000 vs

Slowly learning and fine turning when to call, bet, etc. This was my first interaction with Mr. Hamster and the games were very close.

Ran it back and lost 1k to Mr. Hamster, very poor call and bad judgment on my end

Ran it back a second time, ultimately my downfall was to a rivered flush that I did not see.

5-10
