Title and poll say it all. Now I know many people have donor forum access and bday topics are posted almost immediately in there but that isn't the case for everyone in the community. So I don't see any harm in adding a feature for members who wish to enable an optional bday notifcation similar to current notification settings in the picture below when someone on your friends list or even just your paid top friends slots has their birthday.
Another thing to mention for what it is worth that more users might intrested in buying more top friend slots if those slots had some extra features like this suggestion applied to them.
