Tires should be replaced for snow, but ok for regular days

He was thinking like 3k obo I said 1k no questions asked on how it runs. He wants to post on facebook to see what he can get this weekend before he just dumps at $1k

I looked up and like the cheapest I can find online is $4,000. Idk if autotmptest just is a bad site to use. But they are more expensive than I thought. I asked online on hard tops and said maybe $400-$800 depending on how hard I try to sell it and where I'm located.

I have plates that I'm not using and I figured for just doing local trips might be kinda fun to drive in summer ( I have a daily truck for work, my fork has a daily kia, we have a solara convertible for her summer and I have a c8 coming in) so it would just be an extra car.

I'm not looking to profit on it, just want to be able to sell the top and scrap the car if the tranny goes and break even

Pretty much be topless all summer and garaged or parked in winter. Maybe if I kept all year new tires for next winter to be local town driving in bad snow

Ride it till it dies, unless the trans isnt as bad as I expect and then maybe new tires for winter 2022
