i just updated to win11 and i start the first game log in, use the handle, start the next copy and now both launchers are saying that diablo2 is currently playing. so i guess don't update to win11 guys.

(worked well for me on win10)

edit nr2. i eventually got it to work but the performance was HORRENDOUS when switching back and forth. game literally got down to 5 fps on both windows. rolled back to win10.

for actual gameplay it's definitely easier with one pc and just to switch windows instead of VM and then window etc.

In case you do some automation for dclone hunting etc, then maybe VMs can be better, edge cases.


Yeah also interested to know how this is gonna run on w11 if more people tried alraedy, you could share.
