This is becoming an issue for me now yesterday I found a grand charm that was worth 500fg but i didn’t know that I made a p/c thread 50 people came in and left instantly no one said anything…I then proceeded to make 2 threads trying to sell the charm and the people new what it was worth but didn’t want to tell me they just wanted to rip me off by low balling me to the point where it wasn’t worth me selling the charm it was better for me to keep re rolling it with p gems half an hour later I made another thread in an attempt to find out if it was worth anything the. 200 people came in and told me it was worth 500fg….today I rolled a jav and spear skiller with 28life on it same issue as yesterday I had to go and look at what other people are selling there charms for. I spent 10 minutes looking through all that and could only find one thread where a guy was selling a similar charm to mine for 200fg so I proceeded to try and sell my charm for 200 found a buyer but for some reason I decided to have another 15 minute look through price check and realised I was underselling…

Look you guys and Paul do such a wonderful job on this site I know you can do better than that with the price check options we need better than this

Use search function and try to see what people sell for or what they want for it.. just compare, there‘s no universal price on diablo 2

But what other people sell there things for that’s not the universal price we need better options than this there must be something better than that

How? The price fluctuate, people pay more if they want it fast and less if they dont.
There are people that stop and sell their items for like 50% of their price and the other that try for weeks to get a decent price for theirs.
At the end of the day, if you have time to invest, you will get close to your desired price if not.. uts hard to get lucky.

This is a 20 years game, it worked till now like this, it will work further aswell.
What you want or better said, what you hope for its impossible.

Understood but I remember playing vanilla 10 years ago and using jsp there was a proper price check place that had a price for every item in the game…can’t we have that too

It actually is exactly the universal price.

There are only two factors: what you are willing to sell it for, and what others are willing to pay for it. Those two factors make a compromise, and that is what defines the item's value.
Price checks on rare items in a game like D2R are nearly impossible, because there are too few of those items available to talk about a steady supply, making the price fluctuate quite a bit.

There is nothing d2jsp (or anyone else) can do to make this easier for you. If you don't want to sell to lowballers, then you'll have to spend more time waiting for a higher offer. That is the only solution.



Those existed only after several months into the ladder, when prices had stabilized. And even then, they were often inaccurate because they were outdated the moment they got posted.

Alright then I guess it’s going to remain a nightmare for me to try and sell my things… 😞

It takes like 2 minutes to do a search and see what others are selling for. How is this a nightmare? o_O

So hypothetically someone decides to sell a charm let’s say for 200fg now that becomes the universal price that’s basically what you’re saying I can’t wrap my brain around that
