got any links that show how to resize an image so that its not so pixelated for an avatar.

i dont understand how everyone gets their images so clean haha

Start with a high resolution image and use an image scaling interpolation that doesn't butcher the image.
for example here is the same image but with no interpolation.


photoshop, gimp or even paintdotnet have various options for scaling.
Finally for avatars make sure your final image is the correct size that it will be displayed, I think jsp will re-size it if it's not and it may come out blurry.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and letting me know I posted in the wrong space.

*shakes head* It's so obvious now you point it out.

I'll make a new thread in Graphic request as you recommended, but first i'll try the method of scaling I was using with a high resolution image, see how that turns out.
