Starting my new years resolution early. Instead of gaming and jsp-ing, figured I'll pick up a new skill (coding). I attended some dummy crash courses in the past but never really focused on it.

Part of the reason could be learning alone is fking boring. ISO someone to guide me towards the learning material/courses(accredited perhaps?) and answer questions etc.

I have 20k FG(got loans out to collect) or I can get more. Let me know if anyone has time.

Hi, glad you’re jumping in the space.

If you find coding boring and want to learn some cyber security, please feel free to hit me up, I can help set you up with a pathway that’ll involve some solid study materials and certificates just to prove you have the textbook knowledge.

Also for language, if you do go with security, I recommend learning python, just for data parsing and some automation.

hope you are doing well learning. i do want to second the guy saying learn python. every programmer has python in their toolbox and it has wide application in the industry so it is a good choice for beginning.

The space is so big, you should at least research down a few fields you want to study before general 'coding'. When everyone can code, domain knowledge will give you a leg up and keep you interested in solving problems you care abt.
Tutorials, certs, and random courses [in my humble opinion] are pretty useless outside of IT or cybersec, and will discourage you from going at it for more than a couple months
