I don’t know how you’re built but a 405 bench is a fuck ton and if you can bench that you should be able to dl over 600. I had a 405 max dl, and could do 365x8 dl but couldn’t even bench 225. I’ve never done floor bench but i don’t think it compares to benching say on a bench lol, the range of motion isn’t the same at all
Ye but you gotta realize floor pressing is coming to a dead stop every rep, even a little bit of momentum from regular benching would help tremendously
I'm just assuming if I don't train chest or triceps and I wall into gym and bench 225 first time I should have good genetics for benching
I should have noob gains on it for the first few months where I'm progressing relatively quickly , I'm going to see how many times I can get 215 in a few days when my bench comes
But I know how you feel I didn't do much conventional lifts but I've been kettlebell swinging for 2 years straight which works your posterior chain and my deadlift is maybe 330 at 180lbs
