Hi!
A couple months ago, you all tried to address the fact that SC and HC are different economies by modifying the existing PlayStation, XBox, and Switch forums. You created the requirement of adding a tag to posts--Softcore or Hardcore--before a thread could be made. Similarly, users have the ability to click one of these tags so they can filter their view of the respective console forum. It's a good change, and much appreciated.
Unfortunately, it's also insufficient. Softcore players--which are the vast majority of players on console (and probably overall, but I'm indifferent as to PC since they have devoted softcore/hardcore forums)--still regularly make the mistake of clicking hardcore when posting. Further, when a hardcore player makes an ISO, unless they explicitly put "THIS IS HARDCORE" in both the post AND the post title, softcore players looking to get rich will immediately flood the thread offering, only to see they'd made a mistake an issue a retraction soon thereafter. Tough to blame the users; everyone's trying to build their nest egg so they can buy better items or what have you.
Threads like this are pretty common:
https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=90233992&f=86I requested separate forums a couple months ago, and y'all said it wouldn't happen because the problem was user error and they'd adjust. An entirely reasonable response, but I think given the last 2 months of data, one that has turned out not to be correct. People are still regularly missing the tags leading to a ton of retractions, clutter, and trades that cant' go through because the users aren't in the same playmodes.
So here I am, asking again, this time with a poll because you correctly noted I was kinda just asking for this alone last time. This time I'm pretty sure I'll get players responding "yeah this is a problem," so I'm giving it another shot.
Thank you for your time.
