Tough first round matchup with the defending champs, but at this point there's no pressure. This is already a successful first year in the rebuild, they have THREE first round picks in the upcoming draft, and who knows what can happen. Run the ball, let the offensive line dominate, control time of possession and hope the D-line can get to Brady enough to disrupt him.


Yeah Philly could be scary next year.

do you think that is a smart move? I mean sure, for next season, but what about moving forward? To me, that seems like they won't be drafting a QB this year which I think is a mistake.

I know he hasnt played alot of game but damn the dude is the worst in the NFL with passes of 20+ yards.

He even has the best Oline in the league.

Howie also said Carson Wentz was like one of his fingers he couldn't live without, at this point last year

If there are potential upgrades at QB you have to think they will at least consider it. No chance they were pleased with his performance in the Bucs game. He also really struggles throwing to the left side of the field. He was like 2/13 targeting the left side of the field against TB, which the Bucs exposed

If he is the QB next year I have no issue with it, but he's got to improve

Even with Howie/Nick endorsing Hurts, I'm sure there will be still rumors swirling this offseason about trading for a vet QB or one they may like in the draft

This QB class is weak, i don't want them to reach and take a QB. Plus, if you draft a rookie QB you're just going backwards and you're already a playoff team. Why go backwards and reach in a weak class? Hurts deserves another year to show his progress, now that he has a full season under his belt as the starter.

Use the draft picks on defense, and get Hurts more help on offense too like a real #2 to play across from DeVonta Smith.


Also, Eagles O-line was the best run blocking but not the best pass blocking. They were up there, but there are better pass blocking lines.

Look at the last drafts. Every qb class deemed by ESPN to be weak has been solid (Herbert, burrow etc). And every strong one has sucked (Winston, wentz, Marriotta, Goff).

Just because people say it’s weak doesn’t mean it is
