In just over 100 minutes of 5-on-5 hockey this season Chicago has been outscored 10-0 with Seth Jones on the ice

Damn, I expected him to be trash, but I didn't think he could be any worse.

I've lived in and around Chicago my whole life(Dallas Stars fan though) and I cannot believe how bad the Hawks are playing.

All my friends were hyped for Chicago like, "We got Toews back! We got Fleury! We got Seth Jones and Tyler Johnson"-----Playoff bound!!!-------------rip not so much

I remember when the Hawks had that 20 game point streak to start the season. Now its the opposite.

Kane still has tread on the tire but it looks like he's going to waste away while the team goes through its rebuild/retool.

2 years left on his contract, would love to see him in a different uniform.

Imagine the haul they could get for Kane even now.

This roster simply isn't repairable in the short-term.

They'd be smart to jumpstart the rebuild right now but you know they won't because majority of the hype and goodwill they've built with the fans over the Toews/Kane era will be lost.

Bowman is an awful GM. Only reason he has the job is because of his daddy and Tallon leaving him an incredible core.

I remember a handful of years ago the media wanted to tout Bowman as the best gm in the league when chicago was winning and i always thought were fucking insane.

Off the top of my head, the only good thing he's done his entire time there is bring Panarin over from Russia but then he traded him after 2 years for an awful return.

Ironic part is, Saad was the main part of that awful return, who he traded away in another bad trade just a few years before that lol.

e/ and then he traded Saad again in yet another bad trade.

It could've worked if they didn't target the wrong players for their team lol. Jones is the most over rated "elite" dman, he was never good analytically and only looked good doing shit that didn't really benefit the team. Hawks should've used that money to target Dougie or somethin. Hawks got 9 years with Jones... Lmao.
Fleury is good, but he's not the goalie that thrives in a team that bleeds high danger chances, plus he's aging and he definitely did not wanna be traded either.
Toews and Kane can't complain tho, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they did not want to rebuild and wanna try for another run with the core. They probably won't regret either, even if they're sucking ass right now. They'll retire by the time it gets even worse lol
