This is not flawed at all. NA / EU tournies should be hosted separately, and if players from differing regions want to participate in a tourny that is in another region, the ping disadvantage is on them. The purpose of a tourny is to evaluate your skill and put it to test vs other people in a controlled environment, not to test which region has better internet infrastructure...

I would add that Cross Realm Tournaments should also be hosted separately.

Therefore, the FT3 should be used where players from different realms wish to wager duel. see how i tied this back to the OP.

Yeah for a ft3 wager cross region, I think people should definitely run on both sides. In a real-time 2 hour tournament don't have time for that unfortunately

Why ft3 instead of ft5?

Been a while for me, but big part of 1v1 is learning your opponent. I remember winning a ton of games 5-4 after going 0-4 once I figured out how my opponent is playing back in the day. Ft3 is like just enough to remember my hotkeys lmao

Here's the thing

While sins will probably be the best 1v1 class it's not really in 1v1s that mb will have the bigger impact, since you can still play somehow vs it by being overly defensive / l8zing a bit

The real problem with having no wsg comes in team fights where if someone gets lock on you you're as good as dead with dudu cano and barb jumping you

oh and dvn is probably going to be a nightmare if druid lands a hit on you since you can't escape it xd

because x2 FT5's for certain matchups can take a while. btw your not wrong with your view. This does give people more chance at getting a lucky result, but well, its palatable.
