When a Syllable has two consonants at bottom, one of them being ㄹ.
Sometimes ㄹ is making a sound, other times there is no sound, could someone explain both situations where this occurs? It's confusing me at the moment lol

so something like 까닭은? (which means "the reason is" or "because")

i THINK the correct pronunciation is 까달근 but people just pronounce it 까닥은

like chicken is = 닭은. no one would say 달근. you say 닥은

also for sand/mud is 흙은...

i THINK the correct pronunciation is 흘근 but most people just say 흑은

as you mentioned it does involve ㅇ to a certain extent

I'm sorry but i dont even know the full alphabet yet, what you're saying doesn't make much sense to me.....

Could you give me a few short examples of when ㄹ is pronounced and when it is not pronounced? maybe 2 syllables for each example?

Also, Could you explain it in english?

from my understanding:

Code
When a syllable has two constants at the bottom and one of those is ㄹ, and when the following syllable does not start with vowel. Most of the time the ㄹ is not pronounced.... this is a correct statement?

^ is this a correct statement? Sorry i'm a beginner
