Players 8 only - Best Chaos, Javazon Vs Light Sorc

Both characters are geared to the tits, fully kitted, in this discussion. Curious as to other peoples thoughts.

Will the Javazon or the Light sorc Run chaos better?

java is cool but a lot slower compared to hdin or sorc in every scenario iirc

+ the same price as a light sorc so might as well go with the light sorc

the seal only play style without doubt, its just about the clear in p8. The java out damages the sorc while teleporting slower

Sorc w/cmoon wayyy better for p8 imo

i would use sorc because of better mobility. Java has more dmg but teles just too slow

hdin is the slowest p8 chaos clear. Java second and sorc first. What gives sorc an edge is the 105% FCR teleport.

Java has huge mana problems naturally, and in chaos the mana drain monsters makes it not that fun in the long run. I’ve even tried up’d titans, max dmg/ar charms small charms and mana leech everywhere possible and it helped but was still an issue. I didn’t have the runes for a phoenix though. So I would say sorc.

Anyone saying sorc has no idea what they’re talking about. In terms of killing speed it’s Jav and it’s not even close.

Hammerdin also has trash clear like someone above stated. They’re just common because high damage + tankiness and they’re consistent, but their clear will never be good due to the awkward nature of hammers.


If you’re talking about seal only then that changes things quite a bit, as a Zerk Barb would likely be faster than both of them. But he would literally only clear the Super Uniques and nothing else.
