Hello everyone. I'm searching for a good deal on a 1440p 144hz+ monitor.
My budget is pretty tight, however I'm willing to dish out a bit more if you think it's a giant jump in performance.
Most important thing for me is the monitor's performance in FPS games + New World
As long as color's are "okay" i'll be more than happy. I'm not looking to edit photos/videos on this.
I do not want a curved monitor.

Thank you for your help.

I'm not sure what your budget is. But the common price range for 1440p monitors with 144Hz or higher is what was stated above.

If you're looking for something cheaper than current prices, I recommend looking at used markets such as eBay, Mercari, OfferUp, etc. I know with the NewEgg shuffle, some of these 1440p @ 144Hz monitors are flooded in the used market. I was tracking Aorus FI27Q and its newer tweaked models for some time and saw them sold at just below $300 USD. Of course with these used markets, you have to or should, negotiate your price.

You can also look for LG or Dell at 27". I'd start with their model numbers at current generation and see what the used market shows.

Yeah... depends on size of monitor you want as well... 27" 1440P look unbelievable, if you can keep it at 27" check brands like Gigabyte and Westinghouse for cost savings with similar performance to "top" name brands.

If you're playing New World, having a 32" or 34" monitor would make the world and environment feel more "Full" with amazing detail, I like playing MMORPG's on larger monitors.

Twice a year Dell has blowout deals for limited time, I would recommend checking them out as their sale prices can be tremendous along with double dipping coupon codes online. They are also the #1 producer of Monitors in the world, Dell makes fantastic monitors. (They have the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered though - PC related, not monitors)

Asus has good ones.

If you want good picture quality, IPS display

If you are looking for the fastest response times for FPS, TN display.

But tbh IPS displays have came such a long way. I’d personally opt for a IPS 1440/144+

I have a PG279Q, Zowie BenQ XL2546K, LG CX 48”

The benq one I have, but it’s 1080p 24.5" … most 1440p newer models are IPS, they have become just as fast. We’re talking milliseconds difference, not even noticeable. You won’t regret going IPS at all. I have a variety of displays. IPS has better color accuracy, and colors aren’t typically over saturated like they are on some TN displays. I would watch Rting videos or video reviews in general. I’d be aiming for the one that has the best tuning options. From there you could find presets people use. I’ll eventually have a GPU to drive my oled.

TN is an option if you want to spend less. But it's also very uncommon given the fact that IPS now can reach 1 ms like TN panels have.

The TN market is so small that I only know of BenQ that makes them. Samsung, LG, and Dell don't seem to offer TN panels anymore...with Dell being the last company before BenQ to still offer them.

BenQ EL2870U is the only current model that's a TN panel and below the $300 USD on Amazon.

I'd try a search feature on PC Part Picker and checking the used markets.
