ye im sure what im doing isnt efficient at all.
i record an entire dueling session in a single file using OBS
i then launch that huge file with a player and start extracting the zones that interest me using the player itself (so a big file of 1 hour often ends up giving me 10 shorter video files)
i then using lightworks to clump up those duels together with a short 1 second downtime between each duel.

if you have a better idea, im all ears!

Have you tried just downloading OBS? I use it for streaming, but it also has a built in recording option which is very user friendly

I use OBS studio, not OBS steamlabs.
And I have it setup with a replay buffer so that I can record the last (preset ammount) X ammount of time by hitting a button, as well as record whole sessions. Its not too shabby for recording duels tbh, you just set it at like 5-10mins and hit your keybind after each duel.

Then premier pro for editing, but that costs dollas

My research on both suggested that obs studio was harder to learn/setup but had wider and better capabilities; that obs streamlabs was more user friendly, easier to setup, with more YouTube tutorials, but lacked slightly in the options for final product.

But the point of my message was to let you know that obs recording can be easy without having 10 hour sessions, but you are already aware of that. :) awesome!

ye its easy, but the editing process is time-intensive.
i can record up to 60 min sessions, but in that 60 mins, there is maybe 5 to 10 mins worth of dueling between a "g" and a death. so i have to open that mp4 file with an editor, shave-off that useless footage time and compile everything.
its a pepega process o.o and judging from the replies you see in this very thread, people are mean or just meme anyways, so my drive to do it has severely diminished.

Prob because people don’t care to watch sins, who can barely lose to anything, beat on noobies who couldn’t duel their way out of a wet paper bag. Watching a pro necro or windy do their thing would probably be more well received
