i wan't to also add to this, i think rematch clauses are dumb unless its meaningful. These two were meant to fight more than once, no question. You wouldn't have had this fight without the rematch clause, but boxing has never got it right till now.
UFC has had trilogy fights and they are always amazing, and they run how the entire sport of mma is operated. They don't have to sign a rematch clause or not, its pressed by the company. They know when to do it, when fights are competitive and are going to sell. Boxing doesn't need drifting, it needs to have the best fighting the best, so them fighting 3x makes the most sense. I could go on about this topic forever.

But yeah I agree with everything you said, some fights are meant to be trilogies, some fights are terrible even as one of fights. This might have a part 4 if Wilder fights through AJ, Ruiz and Usyk, until then this is where the story ends for now.
