Ewok made a "bet" with Ryan some years back where he said he'd donate if a team won. Ewok didn't follow through though. While Madmartigan's reaction was hilarious, it wasn't actually a bet, and nobody thought less of Ewok for it.

Really, the entire forum benefitted because we got multiple funny quotes out of the whole thing. Like, "I feel like I've been stabbed in the back and also the chest," and "call me on my cellphone, Profar. Let's see how tough you really are."
