I still game with a lot of friends made on that game, some of my oldest gaming friends. The community on FTB was pretty crazy and close. A lot of competitive good players etc. We've been working on making a pretty big community of getting the online back up and running

Haha me too bud me too, The PSP community used Socomarena as our clanwar website but played a bit of Gamebattles on Socom 2 back then as FaTaL. The prime of my gaming career, way too much nostaglia

Socom was my favorite game for Ps2.

You and me both, and the PSP version was amazing as well.

Socom 2 online was the best team shooter ever made. Never liked one as such

Amen man, back in the days with gamebattles and literallly everyone played wars. Idk it felt like the a shooter that actually had a community

It was just levels ahead of its time as far as clan based gaming goes. You could edit your tags etc it was just dope, the 3rd person element really was crazy too…. They need to remaster it. If d2 can be remastered then forsure socom2 could be. Desert Glory and Nightstalker was my shit
