If this is true, then it seems getting vaccinated is pretty pointless. They may or may not protect me but they pretty much don't guarantee others' safety.

Tell me again why they are such a godsend.

Being vaccinated reduces symptoms, prevents deaths, and keeps people out of the hospital system. Not remotely pointless.

Personally I think conservatives should be lined up and executed until their gene pool has been completely eradicated from humanity, so I don’t care if they get Covid from the maskless. But there are disabled people and other innocents who couldn’t get vaccinated yet who I care about protecting.
