heart disease and cancer also are combined categories of many different types, covid is just one pathogen that mutated a few times. cancer includes everything from smokers to burn pit victims to kids with leukemia.

There's 320 million in the US. 12.5% of that is 40 million.

Total covid cases = 89 million, and total recovered cases = 85 million... that's total deaths in the USA of 4 million, not 40 million.


Same site has total covid cases in the world at 556 million and total recovered at 530 million... at a difference of only 16 million.


Someone somewhere has a counting problem.

its pretty embarrassing that you mixed up population and death counts. 12.5% of deaths = from covid, not 12.5% of the population died from covid....

How is 12.5% of a smaller number of deaths worse than 12.5% of a larger one?

My point is that the numbers we are getting from various sources, aren't even in the same ballpark.
So what are we to believe... who are we to believe.
