Game is on battle net client plus 40$ game will deter botters in general. But here are some ways to stop botting anyways.

Flag system
Hours of continued play hits maximum.
Perfect movement, movement doesnt match majority of regular players.
To many games made, hits maximun(no realm down just flag)
Cursor image doesn't move.
3 community reports on player.

If all these flags happen ban account.

Could even Image base captcha login.

I'm sure blizzard will implement a 2021 version of warden aswell.

it boils down to the community, d2 is bot driven and has been for a very long time, its going to be like going into cold water when d2r comes out, youll say when d2r drops i wont bot, but what are you gonna do when kolbot drops for d2r?
