I think there's a difference of complaining and providing feedback/suggestions. It's pretty typical to have a community give thoughts on what things could be tweaked or changed. That's not to say the creator or developer has to listen though. Look at games like LoL where there is constant change due to the shifting meta and balance. Feedback is important.
