I am looking at these two laptops, and curious if anyone here has owned one of them and would provide their thoughts. Contemplating picking one up for D2R as a mobile solution, I already have a series x paired to a lg cx to play at home on a big screen. I wouldn't play much else on it, but it would also be used for general browsing / spreadsheet / video usage (no streaming gameplay).

The 3050ti / ryzen 7 5800h model is $50 more than the 1660ti / ryzen 7 4800h model. From what I've gathered, the 1660ti edges out the 3050ti in several areas even though it is an older card. The other differences are the display, but both would be adequate for my use.

Basically a "which is better" post as the $50 is trivial. Older card with 2gb more vram, or newer card with 2gb less vram. Older seems to perform better in certain benchmarks that I've read.

3050ti/5800h model over course

are the benches including dlss?

I just recently bought a laptop too. I looked at all the options including the legions you have picked out. IMO I would spend a little more and get a better gpu. As you prob did your research 3050ti is very limited because it’s a 4gb. Sure you might not notice on certain games but as you start playing games that will come out in the future I don’t think it will handle it well. This is just my opinion tho and if you don’t feel comfortable spending more maybe don’t buy one and save up more rather than spend your money on something you will regret. I would recommend looking at Rtx 2060 or rtx 3060 laptops.

1660 ti cause more vram
