You do not have to be a cbaal junkie.
In hell act 1, the den, holes, pits, and caves are not only great levelling spaces, but they are awesome for magicfinding.
You can quickly get to level 80+ by just working those areas. Cbaals are far too repetitive and filled with bots which have fast pickit on.

Be smart. Drink coffee and stay in act 1 for the spoils and levels.

perhaps cos disregarding it being act1, which makes people thing it's the easiest act, it still has plenty of high level areas?
mausoleum and pits are both lvl85 areas which is highest area lvl ingame that means every single item in d2 can drop in those areas and they are quite rewarding with exp. however, they're hard
