Yup just read there will be a new alien tv series by Noah hawley,
it will take place on earth rather than a confined space like ost of the alien movies.
What do people think of it? bad idea or good to start a tv series about alien?
One of the themes will be inequality apperently.

I personaly like the alien universe so i would like to see how it unfolds but its very hard not to be skeptik about it.

The entire canon of the Alien universe makes absolutely no sense. It's all extremely fucked up.

I wouldn't mind a complete reset on the entire thing done properly. Starting on Earth doesn't seem a good way to go though...

Hopefully, Ridley Scott may be executiv producer, that would be a good point.

The second good point is Noah Hawlay is thinking about this serie since 2019. Thats a resurection ! so he possibly already corrected all the mistakes he would have made in 2019

But i dont realy understand why this would take place on earth ?... only Alien vs Predator was on Earth. This show gonna be a prequel or a sequel ?...

And dont forget there is a trilogy coming soon ... im affraid its suddenly gonna be "too much" Alien like Star Wars

I love Alien but Aliens is in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. The rare case where the sequel of a great movie was just as great if not better.

The last Alien movie was absolute dog shit.

They are both great in their own, and have different style. Feels like theyre different genre of movies.
