I'm building a defense BvBer. Not sure if 10 dex (from peme) increases AR more than just the plain '100 to AR' that pdiamonds add to these items when socketed.

I dont think you should but dia better unless you need the dex, but I'm fairly certain you're making it wrong

Dex adds approximately dex*5 to your base AR.

What kind of bvb? If mace then go for 10str pa add
Get 5% flat ar on helm and 15dex + flat ar or 5% on gloves if your barb is lvl 93+. If below try to get 30 flat ar on helm instead

Thats enough

Try to aim for 200str on your barb

If you go for exe you can put peme or pr instead. Str usually 170 should serve well.

If you go for naga and nate doesnt have -req then go for pr. For naga some might go for pdia instead

Sry this was kinda confusing so again more precise ... If you use angelics:
- For lvl 93+ go for 5% ar (helm, gloves)
- If below lvl 93 go for 30flat ar on helm and on gloves I think 20flat ar is very similar to 5% ar adder so doesnt matter. But get 15dex first as it gives more ar (+defense).

I dont rem accurately but I think it was lvl93 where due to angelics set you get more total ar from 5% ar on items vs 30 flat ar
