Other thread is too old to post in, Slime Diaries between the Season 2 gap wasn't bad, but I definitely enjoy this series more than the diaries side story
First episode, based on title and comments (I'm not going to bother watching it) is just another recap episode, should be getting the first real episode of the season in a couple days, looking forward to it

This season was(is) interesting none the less. Watch all episodes for a recap, also be amazed at the return of the Dragon and other fun things.

Honestly you haven't missed much - the first half of this season is probably better watched in one sitting anyways, the upcoming episodes should finally be getting better

He lied Its been amazing so far IMO.

They've were sitting in a circle for like 1/3 of the season

I watched the first ~12 episodes and there was a lot of action tbh. Maybe the first couple episodes were a tad slow
