atm i have seinheiser hd600's and they were awesome but ive had them for some time and they seem to be finally dieing i was looking at either

A. getting another pair of them
B. the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro


i mainly play fps games or some sort of shooting games any suggestions?

get the beyers

for strictly gaming i would actually recommend a wireless headset with mic
steelseries arctis pro or the hyperx cloud flight for example
if you dont care about mic and wireless or you primarily listen to music then you should look into the sennheiser hd 6xx if youre from the us (otherwise shipping and customs add up)
theyre the sennheiser hd650 but cheaper but you will need an amp to drive them (though i assume you already have one from using the hd600s)
beyerdynamic dt 990 pro are good headphones but quite different from the hd600s. the dt 990s are a "fun" headphone, they place emphasis on highs and lows, while the hd600s are very
technical headphones that place emphasis on mids and clarity
after all most of this stuff is subjective so the optimal thing would be for you to find a hifi store and try the dt 990s if you want to go for something different or you can play it safe and
go with the hd 6xxs. the difference between hd600 and hd6xx is miniscule but the hd6xx are cheaper thats why i would go for those
